This Pioneer built Sing Log Home on Saratoga Passage, Camano Island, WA, was specifically designed with roof color and over all lines to not only blend in with the landscape, but also enhance the surrounding scenery.
Traditonal hip roof framing being used on Sing Log walls.
Traditional 5/8" roof sheathing in place.
Roofing complete. Architectural roofing and 42" roof overhang, gives this Sing Log Home a squatting mushroom appearance, which enables it to blend into the landscape and not interfere with or detract from the view from other homes above.
Pioneer Home Services built this 3,000 square foot Sing Log Home, with attached 2 car garage, in Conway, WA in 4-1/2 months. The customers pre-stained and loaded them onto the platform. This provided them with "sweat equity" and saved on construction cost.
